I develop and improve Java/Spring Boot microservices for a large enterprise logistics and billing platform — shipping production code while analyzing how data moves, where things break, and what needs to change to keep the platform reliable and aligned with business goals.
Roles & Duties
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices — REST APIs, service integration, and production fixes across the billing and logistics platform
- Build and extend Spring Batch jobs and event-driven processing, including pub/sub consumers using Kafka and the AWS SDK in Java and Python
- Analyze freight invoice ingestion and messaging workflows to identify bottlenecks — then implement the code and infra changes to resolve them
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure changes with Terraform, following cloud and deployment best practices
- Operate platform and cloud resources via CLI — AWS CLI for resource actions, Terraform commands for infrastructure changes, and Python scripts for operational workflows
- Utilize AI-assisted workflows to reduce delivery time on development, analysis, and operational tasks
- Support operational tooling that gives stakeholders visibility into shipment and billing data
- Monitor platform health in Splunk and align technical improvements with business priorities
